Angela has never told her boyfriend, Peter, about her lifelong attraction to Dimitri. She and Dimitri were brought together when they were young, products of different marriages. They’d known each other long enough to be friendly and close, but, as it turns out, not nearly as friendly or close as either of them secretly wanted. 
 
On a trip to visit Dimitri, Angela and Peter are thrown into the glamorous party scene of Shanghai’s wealthy, white-collar upper class. Through a slurry of late nights, intimate conversations, ill-timed morning wood, naughty games, fancy showers, romantic epiphanies, and lustful glances, these three 20-somethings learn about (and feel) far more of each other than they ever could have fantasized.
